This year, Jumia celebrates its 10th anniversary in Africa. To this occasion, the e-commerce leader announces a series events throughout this month, including an exceptional promotional campaign.
10 years. 10 years ago, Jumia took its first steps. Today, the company is the national and African leader in e-commerce and logistics. And to celebrate, as it should be its 10th anniversary, Jumia is launching today a series of events throughout the month of June to honor all of its teams, partners and customers who have placed their trust in it and thus contributed to its success since 2012.
Among the planned highlights, a sales campaign with promotional offers from major brands such as Samsung, Coca Cola, L’Oréal, Nivea, Xiaomi and many more!
During these celebrations, a series of novelties will also be on the agenda, such as the launch of new “pickup stations” throughout Morocco, the opening of Jumia Logistics to third-party companies, or the recruitment of “J-forcers” in collaboration with Anapec. These are young people wishing to get started in the e-commerce ecosystem… In this sense, Jumia has notably launched a caravan in the Souss-Massa region to raise awareness among young people and offer them training and coaching sessions. The goal? Enable them to become the company’s service providers. On sustainability, Jumia will also implement the initiatives elaborated and shared in its first ESG report.
