The Golden State Warriors are NBA champions once again.

Following two consecutive seasons of missing the playoffs, the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in six games to win their fourth NBA title since 2014-15. Guard Stephen Curry had 34 points in the 103-90 victory to lead the Warriors on the road after trailing 14-2 within the first four minutes of Game 6. He was named the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP for the first time in his 13- season career.
